Case Report : Unusual presentation of Eruptive Syringoma

Abstract

This work is a case report about Eruptive Syringoma, which had an atypical presentation in this patient,since her face was spared from injuries. The purpose of this report is to present an atypical clinical picture that, until then, had not been described in the literature. The present study was based on a patient seen at the Dermatology Clinic of Faculdades BWS, and the clinical data and images accompanying the present article were obtained in this same context. The patient underwent a biopsy that showed typical histological findings of the disease, allowing her diagnosis. She was submitted to therapy with Isotretinoin 20mg / day with unsatisfactory results. Despite the atypical presentation, the syringoma once again proved to be a difficult to treat disease, presenting in general an unsatisfactory response to the treatments administered.
