BLEPHAROPLASTY: INDICATIONS AND BENEFITS

Abstract

The increase in facial treatments has been very significant in that we can preserve the balance of shape and beauty of our patients and improve their self-esteem. “BLEFORAPLASTIA” has been sought to be performed due to the appreciation of aesthetic surgery in the dermatological class. The objective of this study is to evaluate the indications and benefits in patients undergoing blepharoplasty. This is a systematic review of articles that try to elucidate using methodology in a clear and subjective way, for all voters who are interested in the topic of blepharoplasty surgery and its benefits. Inclusion criteria: original articles and expert opinions from 2012 to 2022. This blepharoplasty surgical technique is proven in terms of its benefits and effectiveness, in view of all safety, as there are good results in its aesthetic and functional form . Therefore, the professional must have a good knowledge of this anatomical region and the technical precepts, so that it can be performed safely. Blepharoplasty has been shown to be a surgical procedure that brings many benefits to the patient without failing to report on the improvement of their self-esteem, a very significant minor surgery and a low percentage of complications.
