Abstract
The present study aims to report on the outcomes of psoriasis in the quality of life of its patients, as well as the impact on their health.
It is an integrative review of a qualitative approach focused on the search for results for evidence-based practice. A search was carried out in databases using the
descriptors in English and Portuguese, respectively "psoriasis" AND "Health impact assessment" AND "Quality of life" and "Psoriasis" AND "Health impact assessment" AND "Quality of life".
Through the proposed combination of descriptors, 359 productions were found, of which, after applying the inclusion criteria, we reached a result of 7 articles.
Psoriasis in the lives of its patients has a negative impact, especially in young patients, women and singles. It is important to study the quality of life in view of the impacts generated on the health of a psoriasis patient, because in addition to indicating the main factors, it becomes something dimensioned and reported for possible interventions by the entire multidisciplinary team.
