Abstract
Sneddon-Wilkinson sub-corneal pustulosis or sub-corneal pustular dermatosis or Sneddon-Wilkinson disease (DSW) was first described in 1956, it is a rare, chronic and recurrent, usually benign, entity in the group of neutrophilic dermatoses. The aim of this study was to report a case of sub-corneal pustular dermatosis, in which, initially, the patient obtained other diagnoses, after anatomo-pathological diagnosis was closed and, at this moment, she sought our service to adjust the treatment. Female patient, 17 years old, born and living in São Paulo capital, underwent anamnesis and complete physical examination with subsequent analysis of a previous anatomopathological examination, carried out in the affected region. With the result of the biopsy associated with the physical examination, we are able to confirm the diagnosis and adjust the therapeutic proposal. The anatomopathological examination can guide us in the face of a cutaneous pathology. In this case, after analysing its results, we are able to confirm the diagnosis and obtain the appropriate therapeutic plan for the patient.
