Abstract
Photoprotection then comes as a set of measures aimed at reducing sun exposure to avoid not only the development of cancers but also aging, photodermatoses, among others. Among the photoprotections it stands out orally with polypodium leucotomos. Aims to illustrate the treatment of photoprotection with oral polypodium leucotomos. This is a bibliographic review. We have 30% of the publications in English showing that the theme is recurring worldwide. Even if it is a medication that does not need a prescription, its use should be recommended by the professional responsible for the skin treatment, the dermatologist.
